OVERVIEW OF PRINCIPLES

Principle One: The Master and the Masses:
Each of us plays the alternating role of Master and masses. For example, you are the Master when you are running your household or are responsible for children; then you become one of the masses while you are waiting in line at the grocery store and the cashier is the Master. But at that level of consciousness, most people have the mentality of the masses and are not living up to their true potential. This lesson shows you how to operate like a Master and create your own unique version of success. The specific traits of Masters are defined, including knowing their own worth; succeeding without permission; being action-oriented, and operating out of inspiration, not desperation. Suggested further reading and exercises show you exactly how to become a Master.

Principle Two: Creation Has Been Created:
No scientist has ever invented an original element of the universe; we can only reproduce and harness what already is and use it to benefit and enlighten us. This means that nothing is missing. Everything we want is already here. Just because you are not experiencing the wealth you desire, for example, does not mean that it doesn’t exist. Everything we want and desire is possible based on the law of conservation-there is always enough, nature will find a way. You cannot dream a dream or desire a desire without the means to achieve it. When you learn to unlock your consciousness and expand it to receive what already is, you move to the next quantum in your consciousness and physical world. As in every lesson , further reading assignments and specific exercises help you expand your consciousness.

Principle Three: Energy Is!
There is no place where infinite divine energy is not. It is what Dr. Deepak Chopra refers to as the probability amplitude or quantum soup. There is literally no spot where God is not, and we are not separate from God. Furthermore, our cosmos is expanding, as two teams of astronomers unexpectedly found in 1998. If the universe is expanding, so is your consciousness! We are part of a never-ending cycle of life and energy that is infinite.

Principle Four: DNA Is What You Are; Deity Is Who You Are.
Your DNA houses all of your negative and positive traits and makes up what you are. But since you are not separate from God, Deity is who you are. Your DNA serves an important survival purpose to keep you safe and in your comfort zones. But it also contains scripts that run on autopilot that seemingly talk you out of your greatness and potential. Your Deity-self represents your entire potentialized self. We are Deity in expression; we are gods and goddesses. You have eternal God-power in you. Every human being has this and can use it to produce heaven or hell. This statement is shocking to your system because with it comes major accountability. You are a walking god or goddess who has the power to experience happiness, wealth and success.

Principle Five: Consciousness Is Energy & Capacity:
Consciousness is having the capacity of God-power and God-potential in your heart, mind and soul; so that when the opportunities arise to expand who you are, you will have the ability to accept and feel deserving of the very thing you desire, rather than sabotage and reject it.

Principle Six: Energy Cannot Be Destroyed:
You cannot destroy a thought or idea, or anything that exists. All is energy and energy can only be transformed. The thoughts, ideas, beliefs and experiences that no longer serve you, or negatively serve you, can only be changed in vibration, reducing or eliminating their emotional charge and impact in your life. The first step in transforming your less-than-perfect life is in embracing your dysfunction-making it okay to not be okay.

Also based on the fact that energy cannot be destroyed, other people’s negative energy can affect you, and you can become what I call a “ViVi,” or Vibrational Victim, someone who falls prey to other people’s negative opinions and energy. Check your family, friends, colleagues and associates. Are there any negative influences or people in your life who have caused you to feel you are not good enough, worthy enough or smart enough to achieve what you want? Or are you a possible negative influence, either on those around you or on yourself?

Principle Seven: Face a Death & Rebirth:
Facing a death and rebirth is a metaphor for substituting new, updated, efficient behaviors for old, negative thoughts and behaviors. In doing this, not only must we break through our own comfort zones, but we must break free of other people’s negative gravitational pull. In order to do this, you must create what is called a quantum event or quantum leap. Creating a quantum leap begins with creating an intention for yourself. This changes your vibration and, depending on the intensity and consistency of your vibrational charge, you can influence a quantum event that will permanently change your current situation.

Principle Eight: Face Your ANTs, WORMs & Fears:
Okay, you have just attended an inspirational seminar or read a great book on achieving your dreams. But shortly afterward, you get the strong feeling that you can’t be successful-you have a horrible track record; no one in your family has ever succeeded; you’ve never had a successful relationship; people are being laid off. If any of these thoughts ring a bell, you’ve got ANTs, WORMs and fears, and lots of them!

ANTs are the Automatic Negative Thoughts that pop into our head whenever we contemplate taking an action that moves us closer to happiness, wealth and success. ANTs keep us locked into our lower-natured DNA patterns of pain and the negative memories we have of ourselves. WORMs (no acronym) represent deep-seated, subconscious unknown beliefs, behaviors and responses to success and happiness.

They condition and trigger the ANTs. WORMs are subconscious; ANTs are preconscious. When your Deity-self causes you to see a greater possibility in your life, the ANTs and WORMs take over and cause you to sabotage your success. The fact that you don’t have your goal means that there are hidden fears, WORMs and ANTs keeping your goal at bay. If you truly felt deserving of having the goal and were not afraid of the happiness or responsibility of the goal, you would have the goal and there would be no need to read this book.

Ultimate happiness, grace or bliss, should not be hard. The goal is to create as many moments of grace as possible, until it takes over and becomes the natural order of your daily life. Creation has been created; i.e., any reality we can fathom already exists within the quantum database. What Deepak Chopra says about the unlimited field of potentiality is true. We do not have the capacity to outthink or create that which has created us; therefore, success is scientific at the quantum level of understanding. Anything you could possibly want to manifest already exists; otherwise you’d not have the capacity to think it, desire it, or conceive it. This is why the mystics end their meditations with, “It is done.”

From Galileo to Einstein, every thing man has discovered in science already existed. No man, woman, or scientist has ever invented an original element from the Universe. We can reproduce and co-create only by harnessing and expressing what already is, and then using it to evolve as a species.

When you read this principle of Creation being Created, what immediately comes to mind? Does it just sound good in theory, but you really don’t believe it? Is it too esoteric to conceive, and too big to wrap your mind around? I first heard this statement from Dr. John F. Demartini. He told me that “Nothing is missing. The majority of people look and seek for something they already have and don’t realize they have it, and keep looking for it outside themselves.”

If nothing is missing because creation has been created, then every level of wealth, success, and happiness you and I could ever want, or imagine, already exists as a possibility in the universal quantum soup. This statement is no longer an esoteric hypothesis for me. I absolutely know that nothing is missing and that creation has been created. Therefore, there are no secrets to success, only combinations and endless possibilities!

Anything anyone has ever thought at any time in the history of man exists today in a subjective state in Universal Mind. When we get into the field of Mind, no past, present, or future exists-they merge into one medium.

No scientist has ever invented original fire, natural gas, metal, wood, or wind. In fact, everything we experience in life is merely a highly evolved, co-creation with what Divine Quantum has already given us the power to choose into existence. In my lectures, I joke with the audience when I tell them that, right now, someone is driving their Rolls Royce! Somewhere in the world, another individual lives in your 2.5 million dollar home! Hey, Oprah, you are making some of my money!

You get the idea. Just because you’re not experiencing the wealth, success, and happiness you desire at your current point of observation, does not mean it doesn’t exist at another level or point of observation. It just waits for the arrival of your consciousness to catch up with your new reality. This is why I get so excited when I hear about new millionaires and billionaires making it in America. In my first book, How to Make Millions When Thousands Have Been Laid Off, I quoted Brian Tracy who said, “…there are 7.2 million millionaires, and of those, about 90% are self-made. Of the approximately 300 billionaires, 80% are also self-made.”

Why have you not reached your dreams, desires, goals, or inspirations? Because you’ve not fully embraced and accepted feeling deserving of manifesting at that next level of reality.

Nothing is Missing . . . Including the Deceased!

If life is infinite, then this is not life…we must conclude that life, in terms of our body and all its achievements and possessions, which, without exception, begins and ends in dust, isn’t life itself. This is an enormous inner shift that eliminates fear of death (how can you fear something that can’t exist?) and connects you permanently to the infinite Source of Creation that intends everything from the world of infinite Spirit, into a finite world. - Dr. Wayne Dyer The Power of Intention

When I truly began to embrace the SHOCKphilosophy principle that Creation Has Been Created, I realized that even passed loved ones are still with me in a different form or frequency. We’re never without a passed loved one-they all exist and are immediately available, right now and always. You must look past the obvious physical form and see the spiritual, quantum form, as suggested in the Bible when it admonishes in John 7:24 - “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” Look at your life right now. Take a deep assessment and think about what you think is missing.

If you have a loved one who passed on, who you think is now missing in your life, search the database of your quantum life, right now, and find where you are receiving the vibrational equivalent of that person. For example, you may have lost the physical vibration of your mother’s love, but right now the vibration or frequency of your mother’s love may be fragmented into more than one person in your life, right now, who all remind you of your mother’s love.

The frequency of your mother’s love may have taken many different forms and manifestations, but your mother’s love has never left you and never will. Creation has been created-nothing is missing, and Energy Can’t Be Destroyed (see SHOCKphilosophy principle 5).

If energy can’t be destroyed, only transformed, the dead (as we perceive them), live in a universal existence and frequency that we can instantly access. Why do you think we perceive intuitives such as John Edward, or Mary Rose Occhino, as so powerful? They are tapping into what already is, but in a different form, through a higher sense. We all have the ability to do this, not just a select few with a marketing budget.

So, your next-level financial success, health, right relationship, currently IS in a perpetual state of existence, right now. When you learn to unlock your consciousness and expand it to receive what already IS, you instantly evolve to the next quantum in your physical world.

This is why we must BE rich before BECOMING rich, as the subtitle of my book, The SHOCKwealth System suggests. Once we understand, embrace, and know that creation has been created, we truly harness the kingdom, move mountains, and leap from one reality to another . . . unfettered and unbound.

Your Quantum Relationship is Not Missing

The right relationship already exists for you at every level of your consciousness. I live by the credo, “Don’t chase, replace.” This means there’s always another person that can bring you joy, happiness, and fulfillment at each level of your consciousness or reality. It’s the art of mastering blissful detachment. Relationships are wants not needs.

The only reason we remain married or in a committed relationship is because there are lessons yet to be learned about ourselves in relation to others. Usually we learn these lessons in some manner of synchronicity that keeps us attracted and compatible with our significant other. If ever we have too large a quantum leap, or experience many quantum leaps over a short period of time, we then feel bored, unfulfilled, restless, and wish to move on past the relationship.

The purpose of any relationship is to teach us, and grow and expand us-whether with our friends, parents, family, lovers, bosses, children, etc. Whenever you learn the lesson needed to be learned at that level, the relationship takes a different form or vibration and goes to another level. It transforms only to the next level because the next level already exists in the probability amplitude, or quantum soup, of unlimited possibility.

Wholeness is everywhere; completion is everywhere; intelligence is everywhere. Seek and you shall find . . . not only your purpose, but the best way to use it!

In another interview with Dr. John F. Demartini, based on his book The Breakthrough Experience, he offered his viewpoint on the concept that Creation Has Been Created.

Nothing is missing. All things change form-transform. That which seems to be missing is only in an unrecognized form-look once more and again and again. Our inner eye receives while our outer eyes deceive.

Everyone we seek is already present, whether imagined or real, but our outer eyes deceive us. Isolation is unheard of by the individual who communes with their surrounding atoms or stars. We attach to forms instead of honoring transformations. The master lives in a world of transformation, the slaves live in a world of gain or loss.

In the universal “I,” everything is not only possible, it already exists, and simply requires intent to collapse it into a reality in the physical world.

Philippe "SHOCK" Matthews

The road to success was not a smooth one for SHOCK Institute founder and spiritual director, Philippe Matthews. His life reads like a novel: family strife, illness, tragedy, financial struggles, self-discovery, reinvention, triumph, and renewal of the human spirit.

Philippe’s home life mirrored the traditional American family’s during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Men headed the household, while women maintained the home. At age five Philippe endured his parents’ bitter divorce that disrupted not only his life but also his older sister’s. In 1975, doctors diagnosed his mother with cancer and gave her three months to live. Philippe immediately dropped out of the sixth grade to take care of his mother, while his older sister worked to support the family. At this time, his mother began attending Christ Universal Temple, in Chicago, led by the Reverend Johnnie Colemon, Ph.D., which aided in extending his mother’s life for another four years. At this church, young Philippe learned the basics of New-Thought metaphysics. One evening in February 1979, Philippe’s mother succumbed to cancer and died in his arms. Losing his mother kicked off the beginning of several hardships he and his sister would soon face.

Even though his mother’s death brought his estranged father back into his life who molested him as a young child, other misfortunes included the loss of his mother’s home and the sudden death of his father two months after their reuniting. Philippe and his sister faced enormous financial struggles, and were forced to seek public assistance, working dead-end jobs to make ends meet. At the urging of his sister, Philippe pursued the trade of cosmetology.

Cosmetology offered Philippe an opportunity like no other, allowing him to pursue a career as a makeup artist, and to develop new skills strategic to his future success-writing and speaking. In 1986, Philippe published his first article for an African-American hair-industry publication, and he worked for a Chicago-based newspaper, launching a motivational column that ran for five years. By 1990, Philippe was selected as the Atlanta, Georgia, -based Upscale Magazine’s first beauty editor.

Philippe soon became an observer of the methods used by successful people. And one day, watching motivational speaker Les Brown on PBS television turned his life around. Seizing an opportunity, Philippe contacted the PBS-affiliate station to arrange an interview with Mr. Brown, who then encouraged Philippe to “channel his talents and fill a need.”

Philippe soon began a period of intense self-assessment and self-study. He became, by his own admission, a self-help junky, and devoured every book he could find on various topics ranging from business to personal and spiritual development.

Using his talents as a speaker, Philippe created his first seminar-”The Dynamics of Magnetism: How To Attract A Better Life For Living,” for WGCI Radio in Chicago-to a sellout crowd in Chicago in 1993. In 1998, while exploring other opportunities to further spread his message of empowerment, Philippe learned about a new, powerful tool that would unequivocally change the way business would be conducted and how information would be shared worldwide-the Internet. Armed with this information, Philippe began his own Internet e-zine in 1999 (EmpowerMag).

EmpowerMag-known as the Human Potential Hub-allowed Philippe to interview the most powerful minds in the world dedicated to human potential and personal, spiritual, and professional development. Along with the launch of a successful online magazine in 2001, Philippe “SHOCK” Matthews authored his first and internationally-acclaimed book: How To Make Millions When Thousands Have Been Laid Off, featuring Stedman Graham. In 2003, Rev. Philippe “SHOCK” Matthews authored The SHOCKwealth System™, which inspired him to produce an eight-principled manifestation process known as The SHOCKphilosophy™.

Rev. Philippe “SHOCK” Matthews also launched his own TV talk and podCAST show-The Philippe Matthews Show-which featured such notable guests as Zig Ziglar, Robert Kiyosaki, Dr. John F. Demartini, Stedman Graham, Bill Kurtis, Mark Victor Hansen, Marianne Williamson, Robert G. Allen, Wayne Dyer, and Deepak Chopra.
